If you prefer to watch demonstrations of software or tools instead of reading manuals or following written step-by-step instructions, these short video tutorials focusing on Moodle tasks and best practices are for you!

This video shows you how to upload a single file into your Files area and link to it in your course.

You can use the Edit Summary tool at the top of the screen to change the appearance to make it look like the course has a header. This is a good place to state the name of your course and add information you want students to know. You can also add summary information to each week or topic.

How to upload, convert and add a video file to your Moodle course.

 

In Moodle, video is a Resource. From the “Add a Resource” list, select Video.

NOTE: The video option within Moodle requires the Flash player for viewing. Best practice suggests that you add a disclaimer to your course reminding students that they will need the Flash Player installed on their computer. Videos will not play on mobile devices that do not support Flash.
